
Challenge: The Water’s Edge Music Festival will mark a milestone for the Evergreen Cultural Centre and Coastal Sound Music Academy, who produced this 25-hour extravaganza that is presented by the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad. They were in need of a website to promote their labour of love.

Challenge: The Evergreen Cultural Centre is Coquitlam’s arts and cultural venue. They have partnered with Coastal Sound Music Academy to produce the first Water’s Edge music festival, presented by the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad. They needed a brochure designed that would be placed in the local newspaper.
Solution: Ballistic Arts designed an 8-page brochure insert for Water’s Edge that was placed in the Tri-City News newspaper. By using the festival’s colours of blue, green and chartreuse throughout the brochure, the brand is kept consistent and professional. Challenge: Illuminate Yaletown is an outdoor light-as-art event featuring contemporary light installations designed to inspire and impress. Ballistic Arts was honored to be one of the event’s sponsor by offering photography, videography and graphic design services.
Solution: On Saturday, February 21st, Ballistic Arts attended Illuminate Yaletown to document the festivities that evening. With the help of our friends at Eos Light Media, we also created Ballistic Arts-sponsored light installations that included a motion graphics video displayed at the Design House building, and brush stroke graphics that allowed attendees to create personal artwork or messages that were projected on the Opus Hotel.

Challenge: The Jessi Johnson Mortgage Team focuses on educating the public and client development with the goal to assist in the creation of wealth. They were in need of a new website design.
Solution: Ballistic Arts created a sleek, professional website by using a rich, black background and rotating portraits of Jessi next to the content. The site speaks to clients of the mortgage team by offering them the opportunity to book a seminar, sign up for the monthly newsletter and watch Mortgage Sense TV segments.

Challenge: Greenscape Silk Design provides simply unreal custom décor for rental to the film/commercial industry, special event industry, and wedding clients. They were looking to revamp their look with a new website.
Solution: Ballistic Arts provided Greenscape with an attractive and functional website that allows their clients to view galleries of previous work, learn about purchase programs and view inventory items available for rental.

Challenge: BC Housing is the provincial crown agency that develops, manages and administers a wide range of subsidized housing options for those in greatest need. They were looking for a testimonial video for their Rental Assistance Program (RAP).
Solution: Ballistic Arts went on location to film a family who is a part of the Rental Assistance Program. The video shows how the program has made a positive impact in their lives by providing them with assistance to make their monthly rent payments more affordable.

Happy March everyone! A new season is just around the corner and the days are getting longer as we prepare to spring our clocks forward this weekend!
