Summer is in full swing and we’ve been enjoying the BBQs, drinks on the patio and of course, the sun! We’ve also been having fun with fresh designs that include a Cineplex animation for Baskin Robbins, a video for Sage North America’s Billing Boss invoicing system, a newsletter design and gift card sleeve design for Guildford Town Centre, an annual report design for the University of British Columbia, and a video for BC Soccer’s Kickin’ program. Challenge: For over 60 years Baskin Robbins has been delighting customers with their irresistible treats and is now the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops. They were in need of a 10 second animated ad to be played in Cineplex Odeon theatre’s “digital pre-show”, and they came to our Vancouver creative agency to help provide them with a solution.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ multimedia design team produced a fun, colourful ad that puts the focus on Baskin Robbins’ sweet treats and entices movie-goers to visit the ice cream shop for their 2-for-1 promotion.

Challenge: Sage North America supports more than 2.9 million customers in the U.S. and Canada through products and services that include accounting, operations, customer management, HR and warehouse management, among many others. They turned to our video production team to help them produce a video for their SageSpark Billing Boss product.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ Vancouver video production team created an instructional video showing users how to operate the Billing Boss invoicing system. The video is attractive, easy to follow and speaks to their target audience.

Challenge: Guildford Town Centre is a fully enclosed mall featuring over 200 stores, services and restaurants based in Surrey, BC. They sought the expertise of our Vancouver graphic design team to help them create a gift card sleeve design and internal newsletter design.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts media designers used the Centre’s colours of green and yellow to create brand consistency between the two marketing communications materials. Both the newsletter and gift card sleeve designs are fresh, clean and easy to read.

Challenge: The UBC Faculty of Land & Food Systems provides the student-centred education, research and knowledge necessary to promote human health, a sustainable food supply and the responsible use of finite land and water resources. After designing the Faculty’s previous annual report, they decided to return to the Ballistic Arts graphic design team to create their 2007/2008 Annual Report.
Solution: The graphic designers in our BC design firm provided the Faculty with a report that reflects their environmental vision. The use of earth-tone colours, an organized layout and complementary photos makes the annual report a pleasure to view and read.

Challenge: BC Soccer is the largest provincial sport organization in BC whose mission is to develop the game by inspiring British Columbians to lifelong active, inclusive and team play. They returned to our Vancouver design firm to produce a promotional video for Kickin’, their elementary school soccer program for inner city kids.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team created a video that illustrates the benefits children receive from the Kickin’ program and how it makes a positive impact for the kids, schools, and the community.
