Projects we are working on: February

Happy February Everyone! Hope everyone has been enjoying the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics by going to events, volunteering and soaking up the Olympic Spirit. Our own ted LAU was delighted to take part in the Opening Ceremony as an Ramp and Athlete Marshall. We’ve also been having fun here at Ballistic Arts with fresh designs that include a sleek web 2.0 website for Speedpro Imaging, a funky website for Edible British Columbia, a modern look for Advanced Net, a stylish new  UBC Reach Out Newsletter design, and a trendy freezer box poster design for The Arbuthnot Group. Check them out!

Speedpro Website Design

Challenge: Speedpro Imaging is a company that offers affordable, visual business solutions. They produce high definition, “photo realistic” images for everything from your tradeshow displays, company vehicles, to your indoor or outdoor signage. They came to Ballistic Arts looking to upgrade their current website with web 2.0 technology.

Solution: Our Vancouver custom WordPress website design team created a sleek web 2.0 site for Speedpro Imaging that allows their staff to update content on their site – from newsletter updates to their own gallery pages. And most importantly the website is easy to use and navigate for new customers!

Advanced Net Website Design

Challenge: Advanced Net is a parking company that introduces three new ways to pay for parking. They make sure you don’t have to worry about having cash, coin, or a monthly pass — payment is fast, foolproof, and more convenient than any other option. They wanted to re-vamp the design and functionality of their website.

Solution: Ballistic Arts’ HTML website design team designed the original Advanced Net website and were invited back to produce a professional site that showcases the three new ways to pay for parking. The site showcases new information, highlights the Whistler Parking for the 2010 games, and is much easier to navigate than the previous rendition.

The Arbuthnot Group Ice Poster Design

Challenge: The Arbuthnot Group is the parent company to a group of pubs and liquor stores located throughout Metro Vancouver. They wanted to sell ice out of a freezer box, but the freezer box just sat there and no one paid any attention to it. They need it to be spiced up to grab people’s attention.

Solution: Enter Ballistic Arts. Our graphic designers helped create an entire wrapped design on all sides of the freezer box (front, side and top). This helped grab the attention of liquor store customers and deliver a clear message – there is ice.
