Challenge: FY International is a consortium of select accounting, legal and consulting firms in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Together, they apply resources and solutions suited to the needs of the international market. They looked to our website design team to create a web 2.0 site that would be easy for users to find a professional in their region, easy for the FY International staff to maintain and update the website, and search engine-friendly.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ BC website design and programming team created a custom WordPress theme site that is speaks to FY International’s global international, is easy to navigate, and allows for users to find a professional who is in their country, in a particular industry, and speaks a specific language. With the Ballistic Arts’ WordPress training, FY International staff are able to update this website entirely on their own. They can maintain their current global offices websites, sort and categorize existing and new professionals on their team, and add future global offices.

Challenge: The UBC Faculty of Land & Food Systems provides the student-centered education, research and knowledge necessary to promote human health, a sustainable food supply and the responsible use of finite land and water resources. Ballistic Arts has designed the Faculty’s annual report over the past few years. Once again, the UBC Faculty of Land & Food Systems returned to our graphic design team for an Annual Report for their 2008/2009 term.
Solution: Our graphic designers provided the Faculty with a report that reflects their overall accomplishments throughout the 2008/2009 term. The report also speaks on the faculty’s environmental vision, which is why our designers used earth-tone colours. This layout is consistent with the Land & Food Systems message and follows the new UBC brand.
