BioteQ – Custom Creative WordPress Website Design, Vancouver BC

Challenge: BioteQ is a water treatment company that applies innovative technologies and operating expertise to solve challenging water treatment problems, converting wastewater into a useful resource. They came to Ballistic Arts because they wanted a new website with an updated look, and they wanted to be able to upload content on their own.

Solution: The Ballistic Arts website design team provided BC-based BioteQ with an attractive custom website design and allowed them the capability to update their own content by programming the website in WordPress. The site features a jQuery rotating banner (which is more SEO friendly than Flash animation) on the home page. There is also a jQuery map that has a dynamic counter which shows the litres of water being treated in real time.

Manex Trade Show Booth Design – Vancouver BC

Challenge: Manex Resource Group Inc. is a Canadian based company comprised of an exceptional multi-disciplinary team of professionals, with specific expertise in all the areas of exploration, development and public company administration. Manex has been struggling with their existing trade show booth design because the look was out-dated and it was very difficult to communicate Manex as the parent company while listing their subsidiary brands.

Solution: Manex approached Ballistic Arts’s Burnaby graphic design group to come up with a design for their booth that both visually grab the visitor’s attention and separate Manex from other mining companies at the various trade shows they attend. Ballistic Arts was able to achieve this goal by using bold colours, vectorized textures, and stripped out the subsidiary brand colours.
