Happy July everyone! It looks like the heat of summer is hiding from Vancouver but fortunately for us, the sun is always shining at Ballistic Arts! This month we’re showcasing custom WordPress websites for The Gardens and Bulldog Demolition, a music video for The Mulberry Retirement Residence, a mobile website for World Mosaic, and and a website design for BC Housing. Get your dose of vitamin D and check out our latest projects!
Challenge: With 12 acres of lush greenery and brightly coloured flowers neighbouring luxurious, new condominiums, The Gardens is a brand new West Coast community in Richmond that mixes city and nature like never before. The team behind The Gardens, which includes Townline Homes and Rennie Marketing Systems, came to Ballistic Arts to help them create a bilingual, custom WordPress website.
Solution: The website design and programming team at our Burnaby office provided Chinese translation services, and designed a custom WordPress website that reflects the richness and vitality that exists in The Gardens. The menu is clean and allows for ease of navigation between the English and Chinese sites, while the WordPress CMS system gives staff the ability to easily update text content, menu pages and photos.
Challenge: BC Housing is the provincial crown agency that develops, manages, and administers a wide range of subsidized housing options. They were looking to refresh the look of their website’s home page and inside pages to improve navigation and access to information.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts graphic design team in Burnaby created a streamlined website template for BC Housing that meets their goal to provide a better user experience for their clients and partners. The contemporary design features an organized menu and prominently displayed sections for news releases, stories, and highlights, all of which makes the website more people focused and easy to follow.
Challenge: The Mulberry is a retirement residence in Burnaby where you can make the most of your retirement years. They wanted to highlight the residence’s different activities and friendly staff with a unique, non-corporate music video.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team went on location to the retirement residence to shoot footage for the music video. It was then edited into a 60-second video that is fun, quirky, and celebrates the good life offered at The Mulberry.
Challenge: Established in Vancouver in 1974, World Mosaic (BC) offers tiles that will provide a lifetime of value and pleasure. They came to Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby design studio to help them develop a mobile website that caters to their growing customer base who use their smartphones to shop.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts website design and programming team created a clean and simple mobile website that allows users who are on-the-go to obtain information about World Mosaic on their iPhone, BlackBerry and Android smartphones.
Challenge: Coquitlam’s Bulldog Demolition serves the demolition, site cleanup and disposal needs of Metro Vancouver’s leading construction companies, site superintendents and general contractors. They were interested in creating a web presence for themselves and came to Ballistic Arts for help.
Solution: Our website design and programming team in Burnaby designed a custom WordPress website that is bold and has a strong call to action that attracts people to call Bulldog Demolition for work estimates.
