Before we take off for our Labour Day travels, we’d like to share some of our recent projects that include a loyalty video for BCAA, a custom WordPress website and mobile website for Urban Impact, custom WordPress websites for Canwood Furniture and Status Baby Furniture, and a mobile website for The Rai Clinic.

Challenge: The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) is a not-for-profit member services organization whose purpose is to deliver the best auto club, insurance and travel experience to their 792,310+ members in British Columbia and the Yukon. They were in need of a video that would highlight the loyalty that staff and customers have for the Association.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby office shot, produced and edited a 5-minute video with motion graphics that conveys the loyalty stories of customers and staff in a warm, exciting way.

Challenge: Canfor is a leading integrated forest products company based in Vancouver, with operations in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, Washington State, and North and South Carolina. They needed headshots of their team at their corporate head office, and came to the professional photographers at Ballistic Arts for help.
Solution: The photographers at our Burnaby design studio went to Canfor’s office for a half-day photo shoot and captured corporate headshots of their management team.

Challenge: Urban Impact was launched as the first multi-material recycling company in Metro Vancouver and services 4,500 locations, from Whistler to Chilliwack, and has recently expanded to serve the Calgary market. After their re-branding, they came to Ballistic Arts to help them incorporate their new brand identity into a custom WordPress website and mobile website.
Solution: The website design and programming team at Ballistic Arts designed a bold, unique website that focuses on the new Urban Impact brand. The WordPress CMS system allows staff to update the site with fresh news and information on a regular basis, making it better at serving readers who are as passionate about recycling as they are. Our team in Burnaby then created a mobile version of the new site, optimizing it for people who are increasingly using their iPhone, BlackBerry and Android smartphones to visit websites.

Challenge: Canwood Furniture is an industry leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of childrens products, and was founded to fulfill a need for pine furniture where quality is always in style. With no current website in place, they contacted Ballistic Arts to help them define their brand in the marketplace.
Solution: Our Burnaby-based website design and programming team created a custom WordPress website with a hip, contemporary design that appeals to their “tween” target market. The CMS system also allows Canwood’s staff in Richmond to easily add new menu buttons and change the promotional banner images without sacrificing the design of the site.

Challenge: The Rai Clinic is a state-of-the-art private surgical centre in New Westminster and is the practice of internationally recognized plastic surgeon, Dr. Kimit Rai. They wanted to improve the viewing experience of their website on hand-held devices, and came to Ballistic Arts to help them create a mobile website.
Solution: Our Burnaby-based website design and programming team created a mobile version of The Rai Clinic’s website that is formatted for the small screens of smartphones. This allows the Clinic to reach current and future customers who are looking for information on-the-go on their iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android phones.
