Mindset Social Innovation Foundation Website – Vancouver, BC

Tuesday, 25 of October, 2011

Challenge: Vancouver’s Mindset Social Innovation Foundation is about supporting initiatives that take risks and capitalize on the power of the collective to realize the emergent possibilities in sharing. Their executive director, Alison Lawton, founded Mindset through her passion for investing and her interest in social development. Since 2006, Mindset has supported educational institutions, governments, UN organizations, policy makers and artists. Mindset needed to turn their old Flash website into a new mobile and tablet optimized website. The new website also needed to be searchable by search engines like Google and Yahoo!, something the old Flash website wasn’t capable of.

Solution: Our website design and programming team in Burnaby upgraded Mindset’s existing website by converting it from Flash to WordPress. This upgrade optimized the website for search engines, organized the layout of the content, and allowed for the installation of a JQuery banner. The Ballistic Arts team was also able to program a responsive website, complete with technology that responds and adapts to the screens of all mobile phones and tablets.

Don’t you hate it when you have a website mock-up, but then your graphic designer doesn't know what to do with it? Or when you have a nerdy programmer who can’t design to save his life (or yours for that matter)? Don’t know how to combine all your marketing into one cohesive campaign? Words like viral marketing, blogging, web video hurt your head?

Well, you can either keep pulling out your hair or maybe you can find a better solution. Does it make sense to give us a call? 604-780-0050
