Happy December everyone! 2011 is drawing to a close and we’re excited to wrap up a great year! Here’s a dose of projects that will bring you merriment and cheer during the holidays. Check out Canfor‘s Vanderhoof sawmill photography, a complaints video for the Association of BC Forest Professionals, a custom WordPress website for Galini Greek Kouzina, poster designs for the Trucking Safety Council of BC, and an HTML website for United Mortgage. Challenge: Canfor is a leading integrated forest products company based in Vancouver that produces primarily softwood lumber, and also produces oriented strand board (OSB), re-manufactured lumber products and specialized wood products. Their clients from China were visiting their sawmill in Vanderhoof, and wanted a photographer to shoot the day’s events.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts photo department in Burnaby sent one of our photographers to Vanderhoof to document Canfor’s tour of their sawmill. The photos provide Canfor with an album that they can show their clients in China to help them remember the day and build stronger client relations.
Challenge: The Association of BC Forest Professionals (ABCFP) is headquartered in Vancouver, and is responsible for registering and regulating British Columbia’s professional foresters and forest technologists. They were in need of a video that would highlight the steps of their complaints process to members of the general public.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team in Burnaby produced an animated video that outlines how to file a complaint with the ABCFP in a concise and easy to understand manner.
Challenge: Based in Surrey, Galini Greek Kouzina & Grill serves honest, wholesome homemade food that is of premium quality and is affordable. They were looking to upgrade their current website to be more distinctive.
Solution: The website design and programming team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby office created a sophisticated custom WordPress website that showcases Galini’s vibrant atmosphere and fresh, homemade food.
Challenge: The Trucking Safety Council of BC (TSCBC) is a not-for-profit organization in Langley that works with management, employees and owner/operators in the BC trucking industry to strengthen safety performance and reduce the number and severity of workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities. They were looking for posters that would build awareness towards workplace safety.
Solution: Our graphic design team at the Ballistic Arts office in Burnaby designed a set of five posters that illustrate potential workplace hazards, and how people can take initiative to stay safe and prevent dangerous situations.
Challenge: United Mortgage Group was formed by North Shore Credit Union in conjunction with a group of experienced independent mortgage brokers who will get the lowest mortgage rate in Canada. They were looking to refresh their website’s current look and came to Ballistic Arts for help.
Solution: Our Burnaby-based website design and programming team designed a clean, modern website that integrates United Mortgage’s brand and is updated with their most current information.
