Challenge: The Trucking Safety Council of BC (TSCBC) is a not-for-profit organization in Langley that works with management, employees and owner/operators in the BC trucking industry to strengthen safety performance and reduce the number and severity of workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities. They were looking for posters that would build awareness towards workplace safety.
Solution: Our graphic design team at the Ballistic Arts office in Burnaby designed a set of five posters that illustrate potential workplace hazards, and how people can take initiative to stay safe and prevent dangerous situations.

Challenge: Since 1946, Vancity has known that members are at the helm of who they are, and it has helped them to become Canada’s largest Credit Union. Their Human Resources (HR) department in Vancouver, BC came to Ballistic Arts for posters to display on their floor.
Solution: The graphic design team at our Burnaby, BC office designed a series of 10 panel posters that feature the HR department’s core values, from their service promise to their employee experiences.

Challenge: Established in 1988, The Counsel Network is Canada’s oldest and most established legal recruitment firm. They were in need of custom Holiday cards to give to clients so they turned to Ballistic Arts Media Studios in Burnaby, BC to take on the project.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts graphic design team created a custom, attractive Holiday card that stayed true to The Counsel Network’s branding and colours, and helped them spread some Holiday cheer!

Challenge: Commissionaires is Canada’s premier security provider, offering a unique combination of integrity, experience and innovation. They have protected people and property for public and private sector clients from coast to coast for more than 80 years. We partnered with Misci Marketing to find the best solution for their e-newsletter designs.
Solution: Our graphic designers provided Commissionaires with a letterhead design, employee e-newsletter design, external e-newsletter design, and a supervisor e-communicator newsletter design. Each design follows their brand identity and uses a unique layout and grid structure.

Challenge: The UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems is a leader in integrated research and education that addresses global issues surrounding health and sustainable land and food systems. They were looking to have their biannual newsletter updated for this year.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’s graphic design team created a fresh look for the 2010 newsletter with colours that are friendly, stylish, and appeals the target audience. Check it out!

Challenge: ICBC is a provincial Crown corporation established in 1973 to provide universal auto insurance to B.C. motorists. ICBC was in need of marketing communication design to promote the launch of their 35th anniversary party and intranet website. They sought our Vancouver design firm for a solution.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ graphic designers created a large 12 piece poster that is displayed in a highly visible area at the ICBC head office. The colourful graphics of the promotional piece helped raise awareness amongst head office staff of the 35th anniversary. The design follows ICBC’s brand standards and showcases photos throughout the history of ICBC.

Challenge: Sutton Group Realty is a real estate company that strives on building highly personalized relationships between the realtor and their customers. The Sutton team required a communication tool that would inform their realtors across Canada about changes to their existing intranet website, Homebase, and the introduction of a new online platform called the Sutton Network.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts creative team created two posters that would provide Sutton Group Realty’s intranet users a quick look at new and improved features of Homebase and the Sutton Network. The posters were designed to hang in every Sutton office. The look is clean and fun.

Challenge: Guildford Town Centre is a fully enclosed mall featuring over 200 stores, services and restaurants based in Surrey, BC. They sought the expertise of our Vancouver graphic design team to help them create a gift card sleeve design and internal newsletter design.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts media designers used the Centre’s colours of green and yellow to create brand consistency between the two marketing communications materials. Both the newsletter and gift card sleeve designs are fresh, clean and easy to read.

Challenge: The UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems is a leader in integrated research and education that addresses global issues surrounding health and sustainable land and food systems. Since our local Vancouver graphic design team created the Faculty’s Reach Out newsletter last year, they returned to Ballistic Arts to help them create a new look for 2009.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ creative design team used earth-tone colours and added artistic curves to the layout of text to freshen the appearance of the newsletter.
