Challenge: Canfor is a leading integrated forest products company based in Vancouver that produces primarily softwood lumber, and also produces oriented strand board (OSB), re-manufactured lumber products and specialized wood products. Their clients from China were visiting their sawmill in Vanderhoof, and wanted a photographer to shoot the day’s events.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts photo department in Burnaby sent one of our photographers to Vanderhoof to document Canfor’s tour of their sawmill. The photos provide Canfor with an album that they can show their clients in China to help them remember the day and build stronger client relations.

Challenge: Canada Wide Media Limited provides a diverse range of media services and products, ranging from high-end printed publications to the latest in digital media. They were in need of professional photos to accompany an editorially written feature on Sven Freybe’s business.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts media design studio in Burnaby sent one of our photographers to the Freybe Meats processing facility in Langley to shoot images of the people at work, the products, and some portraits of Sven Freybe. The final photos were used in a corporate profile that Canada Wide Media published online.

Challenge: Situated in Vancouver, BC’s historic Stanley Park, The Fish House Restaurant tantalizes diners with delicious fresh fish and seafood from the Pacific Northwest. They turned to our Burnaby, BC photography studio to help them shoot photos of their updated dining areas.
Solution: The professional photographers at Ballistic Arts went on location and captured the bright, refined interior that really showcases the restaurant.

Challenge: SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts is one of Canada’s leading hotel and resort management companies, with over 24 hotels across the country. Many of their hotels also include a string of restaurants called Botanica. The menus at Botanica required new food photography to capture the imagination of customers.
Solution: With the help of the SilverBirch Food & Beverage team, our Ballistic Arts food photographers provided SilverBirch with custom shots that were illustrative of the fine cuisine at the Botanica restaurants.

Challenge: Duke of Dublin is a traditional Irish Pub. Ballistic Arts Media Studios Inc. had already created the website and done initial photographs of their first location. Now, a second location had been built and Ballistic Arts’ was asked to come back and shoot both the Abbotsford and Chilliwack pubs.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ photographers went and shot the beautiful new pubs and made sure to capture the Celtic essence. The Ballistic Arts website production team then created new flash banners and updated the website with the new photos.

Challenge: Mount Pleasant Cheese is Vancouver’s only gourmet shop dedicated to celebrating the art of Canada’s artisan cheese makers. They were looking to professional photos taken for their website.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’s photography crew took some snappy shots that will undoubtedly showcase Mount Pleasant Cheese’s quality for any viewers of their website.

Challenge: Vancity is Canada’s largest credit union guided by a commitment to corporate social responsibility, and to improve the quality of life in the communities where we live and work. They wanted to have career-related photographs taken for their recruitment project, VancityCareers.com.
Solution: Ballistic Arts went on-site to some of Vancity’s branches to take photos of staff, the buildings, and print materials. The photos are currently being used on the Vancity Careers website at www.VancityCareers.com.
