Challenge: Burnaby’s Canada Wide Media Limited is the largest independently owned magazine publishing company in Western Canada. They were looking to have headshot photos taken of Counterpoint Interiors president, Brian Carroll, for an ad for Shaw Communications.
Solution: A photographer from Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby studio went on location to the Counterpoint Interiors office in Vancouver to shoot Brian at work. The professional photos were used in a Shaw Communications ad that was published in BCBusiness Magazine.
Challenge: Formerly known as 2010 Legacies Now, Vancouver’s LIFT Philanthropy Partners works with not-for-profit organizations to make them sustainable and more effective at delivering measurable social impact in Canada. They were in need of a video that visually shows people how their venture philanthropy approach works.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts team in Burnaby believes that it is important to give back to the community. We donated our video production services to LIFT and created a 2-minute Loco-Motion Non-Drowsy Formula video that clearly demonstrates how their organization works.
Challenge: Based in Vancouver, Bastion Development Corporation has worked on diverse projects across Western Canada for over 30 years, earning a reputation for professional expertise throughout the life cycle of both residential and commercial developments. They were in need of print ads for their Opsal development project.
Solution: The graphic design team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby studio created a couple of fun ads that play up Opsal’s spectacular views in their 24-storey building. The ads were sent to print at a number of different publications, including the Epoch Times, Georgia Straight and Sing Tao Daily.
Challenge: Blue Wave Foundation is a non-profit, registered charity in Vancouver making a difference in the lives of youth struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and/or mental health issues since 2006. They were looking for a website that would promote mental health and speak to youth.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts website design and programming team in Burnaby prescribed a Regular Plus Rx site that is accessible, empowers youth and provides resources for peers. The responsive feature enables the website to respond to the screens of mobile phones and tablets, helping them to engage with their target audience. The website ultimately allows Blue Wave Foundation to be a social catalyst to normalizing mental health issues.
Challenge: White Box Design is an industrial design firm in Vancouver that has over 20 years of hands-on experience, and a passion for designing products that are emotionally appealing, a pleasure to use and enhances the ability to meet business objectives. They were looking for someone who would be able to program the website they designed.
Solution: Our Burnaby-based website design and programming team worked closely with White Box Design to ensure their design would meet website best practices. We then programmed a Fast Action Rx Plan website that is as aesthetically pleasing and functional as their products. The responsive feature of the site allows White Box Design to meet the needs of mobile and tablet users.
