Challenge: Formerly known as 2010 Legacies Now, Vancouver’s LIFT Philanthropy Partners works with not-for-profit organizations to make them sustainable and more effective at delivering measurable social impact in Canada. They were in need of a video that visually shows people how their venture philanthropy approach works.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts team in Burnaby believes that it is important to give back to the community. We donated our video production services to LIFT and created a 2-minute Loco-Motion Non-Drowsy Formula video that clearly demonstrates how their organization works.
Challenge: As Canada’s leading provider of carbon-management solutions, Offsetters helps organizations and individuals understand, reduce and offset their climate impact. Their goal was to create a documentary-style case study video about their work with Harbour Air Seaplanes.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team in Burnaby produced a Complete Action! Formula video that is just under 4 minutes long. After our videographer went on location to Harbour Air to shoot, the footage was edited into a video that demonstrates Harbour Air’s goal of becoming carbon neutral, and how Offsetters is an effective partner in helping to reduce their carbon footprint.
Challenge: Over the past 30 years, Vancouver’s ParkLane Homes has grown to be one of the largest and most recognized builders in BC. They were looking to showcase the exciting communities they’ve built.
Solution: Our Burnaby-based video production team at Ballistic Arts prescribed four doses of our video Quick Action! Formula to help ParkLane Homes feature their communities, particularly Bedford Landing, Heritage Woods, Southport, and Time at Walnut Grove. Our videographer was on-site to shoot and direct the shots, which were then edited into four sleek, trailer-style videos. A highlight reel focusing on these four communities was also put together.
Challenge: TSS Academy in Richmond strives to teach youth how to become skillful and effective soccer players by providing a professional and optimal learning environment. They were in need of a video to invite soccer teams to participate in their 11th Annual Power Tournament.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Art’s Burnaby studio filled TSS Academy’s prescription for a Complete Action! Formula video, which includes an on-site videographer, copyright-free music, and delivery of the final product in HD format. The video highlights the warm, dry environment of their indoor facility and the popularity of the tournament with the soccer community.
Challenge: Burnaby’s Habitat Systems Inc. is a distributor of commercial grade park, playground and landscape solutions in Western Canada. They wanted a video that would feature the playground they provided to Edmonds Community School in partnership with the Canucks for Kids Fund and Burnaby School District.
Solution: A videographer from Ballistic Arts’ video production team went on location to Edmonds Community School to shoot the installation of the playground, which was set up with the help of Vancouver Canucks’ Manny Malhotra, Dan Hamhuis and their families. The final video shows how the new primary playground has made a positive, exciting difference to the Edmonds community and the children at the school.
Challenge: Since 1946, members have been at the helm of Vancouver’s Vancity Credit Union. They wanted to create a four-part video series that would be a guide for any business owner looking for a small business loan.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby-based video production team produced a four-part video series that covers what a lender looks for. The topics range from building a marketing plan, operations plan, and financial plan. The animated visuals are easy to understand and follow, making the video a great guide for getting inside a lender’s head.
Challenge: Based in Richmond, Clevest Solutions provides software for mobile workforce management, smart grid deployment and post-deployment operations exclusively for electric, gas and water utilities. They were in need of a new website and promotional launch video that would help market their business.
Solution: The website design and programming team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby office designed a clean-cut, custom WordPress website that conveys the company’s established and reliable presence to their audience. Our video production team then created a fun video that Clevest used to promote their achievements, the launch of the new website and to thank their clients for their support.
Challenge: Fox’s Reach Liquor Store in Maple Ridge is a specialty liquor store that carries everyday low priced items in every category. They were looking to update their Cineplex Odeon theatre ad with an autumn theme.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby studio animated an ad using warm shades of orange and an image of a maple leaf, giving the Cineplex ad a look that transitions with the Fall season.
Challenge: The Mulberry is a retirement residence in Burnaby where you can make the most of your retirement years. They wanted to highlight the residence’s different activities and friendly staff with a unique, non-corporate music video.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team went on location to the retirement residence to shoot footage for the music video. It was then edited into a 60-second video that is fun, quirky, and celebrates the good life offered at The Mulberry.
Challenge: The Federation of Aboriginal Foster Parents (FAFP) represents foster parents providing quality care for Aboriginal children in a nurturing, culturally appropriate environment. They were looking to produce an advertising campaign for their “Walking With Our Children” Resource Fair in Surrey in order to recruit people interested in fostering an Aboriginal child.
Solution: As a full service creative agency, Ballistic Arts was able to help FAFP execute their campaign on time and on budget. Our graphic design and video production team created a poster and 15-second animation for “Walking With Our Children”. Ads were placed in local newspapers, billboards, and theatres throughout Surrey.
