Challenge: Based in Kamloops, BC, Communication Solutions is a public relations and marketing communications agency specializing in the health, environment and recreation sectors. They wanted a video that would create awareness about how the quality of air can impact the quality of athletic training and performance, and turned to the trusted video producers at Ballistic Arts for help.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team took charge of all aspects of producing the video, from script writing and auditioning actors, to shooting, editing, and delivering the final HD video. The finished video is consistent with the “Air Quality Get to Know It!” campaign, and is a fun, informative way to learn how to be air aware.
Challenge: Fox’s Reach Specialty Liquor Store in Maple Ridge has the largest selection of VQA wines in British Columbia. They wanted an ad to play in Cineplex Odeon theatres that would advertise their below government liquor store prices.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby, BC office created an animated 10-second ad that quickly and effectively communicates the liquor store’s low prices to viewers.
Challenge: The ultimate goal of Tourism Surrey is to increase awareness of tourism opportunities and ensure that Surrey, BC is viewed as an attractive, all-inclusive overnight destination to visitors. The organization enlisted the help of our video design team in Burnaby, BC to create three 30-second promotional videos.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts did several location shoots in Surrey to capture everything the city has to offer. We then used the footage to produce three separate videos that highlight the lifestyle, festivals, and sports activities that can be enjoyed in Surrey, BC. Tourism Surrey posted the videos on their YouTube channel to share with the community.
Challenge: In the last six-and-a-half decades, Vancity has grown to become Canada’s largest Credit Union, with almost 60 locations province-wide serving over 400,000 members. In 2008 Vancity created a program where their employees could go out to the community and teach new immigrants about the Canadian banking system and financial literacy. In order to keep the program fresh, Vancity wants to remind employees to engage in this great program.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video designers in Burnaby, BC, worked with Vancity to produce a promotional video that displayed the information in a engaging way with the use of motion graphics and heartfelt interviews from some the employees who were involved in the program. This video encouraged more employees to get involved in this worthwhile cause, but also reminded everyone why they started in the first place!
Challenge: The City of Kamloops hosted the BC Lions training camp this year at their Hillside Stadium. Kamloops wanted to create two videos that would play at home games. One video would play during the pre-game show. The other video would play during all half time home games. The City of Kamloops worked with Communication Solutions to find the right motion graphics team to come up with the best product.
Solution: The Ballistic Arts video designers worked with Communication Solutions on these two BC Lions inspired videos. The Ballistic Arts motion team team created fun and energetic videos that tie the uplifting spirit of the BC Lions with the exciting activities and great holiday destinations available in Kamloops.

Challenge: The Museum of Vancouver hosts a variety of art exhibitions and events in Vancouver. Fox, Fluevog & Friends is an event that explores the story behind their footwear companies beginning from the 1970s in Gastown to trendsetters, businessmen and artists in the international scale today. Ballistic Arts’ video production team was hired to do a video showcase and interview of the designers – Fox, Fluevog & Friends at the Museum of Vancouver.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts produced a high quality video displaying some of the many fashionable art pieces Fox, Fluevog & Friends created over the years. The video gives the audience a better understanding of the designers, their ideas, and their processes.
Challenge: ParkLane Homes is a developer of single-family homes and townhouses. They were in need of creating testimonial videos of people who had just bought a home from ParkLane Homes in Time at Walnut Grove and Bedford Landing in Fort Langley. The videos’s objective is to showcase the products and motivate potential homebuyers and investors.
Solution: The video production team at Ballistic Arts developed testimonial videos of Darcy Rezac and Julia. Each video consisted of the homebuyer and their experience with ParkLane Homes. The video production team set out to Langley to interview Darcy and Julia and captured various cutaway footage. Challenge: IABC’s mission is to connect communicators to people, programs, and services that inspire their careers and enhance the credibility of the profession. The local BC Chapter contacted our video production team to help them produce a video for their 30th anniversary, which would be shown to everyone during the 30th anniversary celebration day.
Solution: The video production team from Ballistic Arts produced a video that showed how much IABC BC members loved their chapter. Members shared their wonderful thoughts and experiences on how IABC BC became so successful. We would like to thank all the people from IABC BC for helping with this project.
Challenge: TSS Academy runs a variety of programs throughout the year to help players advance their skills and understanding of the game. TSS Academy strives to teach youth how to become skillful and effective soccer players by providing a professional and optimal learning environment. They contacted our video production team to help them produce a web video.
Solution: Ballistic Arts’ Vancouver video production team scripted, produced, and edited this HD video. The video showcases the various soccer programs and excellent learning environment that TSS Academy offers. Challenges: Kitchen Craft was founded more then 35 years ago in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They manufacture high end cabinetry for the kitchen, bathroom, home office, laundry, and throughout the home. They came to our Vancouver Design Studio in need of a custom video that would visually display their products and assortments.
Solutions: Since Ballistic Arts is a full service creative agency, we were able to produce a motion video that displayed a variety of their products using still images from their existing brochure. The video production team used smooth transitions throughout the entire video, making it visually appealing and professional. The tone of the video is elegant, and suits not only the Vancouver market, but appeals to an international audience as well.
