Vancity Lender Tips Video – Vancouver, BC

Challenge: Since 1946, members have been at the helm of Vancouver’s Vancity Credit Union. They wanted to create a four-part video series that would be a guide for any business owner looking for a small business loan.

Solution: Ballistic Arts’ Burnaby-based video production team produced a four-part video series that covers what a lender looks for. The topics range from building a marketing plan, operations plan, and financial plan. The animated visuals are easy to understand and follow, making the video a great guide for getting inside a lender’s head.

Vancity Recognition Night 2011 Video – Vancouver, BC

Challenge: Vancity is a credit union dedicated to helping each of their members get to a good place with their finances, while improving the place we call home. Each year they acknowledge their employees at Recognition Night, and they wanted a video that would capture the highlights of the evening.

Solution: The Burnaby-based video production team at Ballistic Arts sent one of our videographers to attend Vancity’s Recognition Night and document the festivities. The footage was then edited into a 4-minute video that highlights employee recognition, Vancity’s 65th anniversary, their new brand and a minute of bloopers at the end.

Vancity AGM 90 Second Video – Vancouver, BC

Challenge: Vancity is Canada’s largest credit union and is home to 400,000 members who have entrusted them with $14.5 billion of their assets. As they embark on their 65th anniversary, they wanted to show members a short video of their accomplishments at their 2011 Annual General Meeting.

Solution: The Ballistic Arts video production team created an introductory video with motion graphics to highlight how Vancity has lead the way in the financial industry and made a difference in our community.

Vancity HR Panel Posters Design – Vancouver, BC

Challenge: Since 1946, Vancity has known that members are at the helm of who they are, and it has helped them to become Canada’s largest Credit Union. Their Human Resources (HR) department in Vancouver, BC came to Ballistic Arts for posters to display on their floor.

Solution: The graphic design team at our Burnaby, BC office designed a series of 10 panel posters that feature the HR department’s core values, from their service promise to their employee experiences.

Vancity – Quarter 2 Advertising Campaign (Web and In-Branch Videos)

Challenge: Vancity is Canada’s largest credit union and they were looking for videos for their quarter two web marketing campaign. The video production team at Ballistic Arts was able to assist Vancity with their request.

Solution:
As a full service creative agency, Ballistic Arts was able to produce a motion video for Vancity that played inside all 60+ branches, as well as provide them with graphic stills for their website’s home and log-out pages.

Vancity – Inbranch Videos

Challenge: Vancity has branches with televisions for their members to watch while waiting in line. They were looking to have some customized new videos to play for their members – instead of just TV shows.

Solution: Ballistic Arts created a series of enlightening and eye-catching videos that offer Vancity members helpful information on Vancity’s many products and services.

Vancity – Operation Talent Scout Logo

Challenge: Vancity’s team is focused on creating a leading financial institution where everyone works together to achieve their personal and financial goals, while also building a better community.They were looking to have a logo designed for their employee referral program.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed a colourful logo with a 3D look that creates movement and a sense of excitement. The logo incorporates a star to represent “talent” while the binoculars represent “scout,” and provides Vancity with material to help brand their program.

Vancity – Cut the Carbon Posters Design

Challenge: Vancity reached its carbon neutral target in April 2008 and to celebrate, Vancity is encouraging their staff to reduce their carbon footprint even more by running an internal contest call “Cut the Carbon”. In the past 8 months, Vancity staff have been challenged to cut their carbon from various parts of their work and home life. They were in need of eight posters that would illustrate their “Cut the Carbon” campaign.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed a series of “Cut the Carbon” posters that illustrated green behaviours such as “Recycling Paper” and “Alternative Transportation.”

Vancity – Recognition Night Award Videos

Challenge: The team at Vancity is focused on creating a leading financial institution where everyone works together to achieve personal and financial goals, while also building a better community. Vancity was holding their annual employee recognition night and needed videos to help present the night’s awards.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed, animated and produced eight nominee and award winner videos that followed Vancity’s theme of the glamorous Oscar red carpet in Hollywood. The colourful, interactive videos were played at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre and provided Vancity with a creative way to showcase their nominees and award winners.

Tartan Public Relations – Vancity Carbon Neutral Video w/ David Suzuki

Challenge: Tartan Public Relations is a high-energy group of PR professionals who help clients exceed their business goals through strategic communications. One of their clients is Vancity, who was holding a public announcement about reaching their Carbon Neutral goal two years early and was joined by David Suzuki speaking as their guest of honor. They were in need of someone who could shoot the announcement and deliver a video in 48 hours.

Solution: Ballistic Arts went on location to shoot Vancity’s announcement and the highlights of the event. We then met their 48-hour turnaround time with a video that captures the excitement of meeting their Carbon Neutral goal early and shares insights from David Suzuki, Patrice Pratt – Vancity Board of Directors Chair, and Tamara Vrooman – Vancity CEO.
