Happy February Everybody!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Perhaps even one with a special valentine! Ballistic Arts Media Studios is in love with a whole new bunch of crazy projects and we hope you will be too!

Recent Projects
Here are some lovely new projects we’ve worked on recently! All our new updates can be seen at www.ballisticarts.com

Projects we've worked on include:

VANCITY CREDIT UNION
– (Service Odyssey 2008 - internal video)
Challenge: With the release of their new 5 year business strategy, VanCity was looking at creating a fun and exciting video that would communicate their 6 pillars of action to 1400 staff members.
Solution:
Taking their movie reviewers/sci-fi parody script concept, Ballistic Arts took the project to task. Working with a modest crew, we built special effects, composed the shots and tightly edited the presentation into an 8 minute piece.

A BRIANNA LIMOUSINES - (Corporate Website)
Challenge: Being one of Chicago's premiere limousine services, A Brianna Limousines was looking to upgrade their website to match their reputation of excellent service.
Solution: Having already created their new corporate logo, Ballistic Arts provided A Brianna Limousines with both a Flash and HTML website. By utilising both web solutions, we're able to have sophisticated animation for high-end internet users, while keeping the elegant design for low-bandwidth visitors.

KINGSTON CANADIAN FILM FESTIVAL - (2004 festival website)
Challenge: With the success of their 2003 season, the organisers at KCFF wanted to keep the overall website architecture and augment some of the functionality from last year.
Solution: Though following the colour scheme and site architecture that Ballistic Arts created for the previous season, we were able to include a members login window specific for VIP passholders as well we were able to organise the structure of the sponsorship section to best utilise the space provided.

Check out a "reel" good time!

FUTURE SHOP – (Robson & Granville Street Party Video)
Challenge: Future Shop threw a huge street party to celebrate the grand opening of their flagship store on Robson & Granville in Vancouver and wanted to capture the event for future business development ventures.
Solution: Working with direction and strict deadlines from Future Shop, Ballistic Arts helped document and edit the entire video. We got everything from concerts of the Swollen Members to autograph signings from stars like Bif Naked and Ryan Malcolm.

FOX'S REACH PUB & GRILL - (SuperBowl Billboard)
Challenge: Fox's Reach wanted to advertise their SuperBowl Party on a billboard in a high traffic region that goes towards Maple Ridge.
Solution: Because Ballistic Arts understands that drivers along busy streets don't have time to be bothered with elaborate designs, we focused primarily on the core message and kept the design clean and simple to maximise the delivery to drivers.

THE ARBUTHNOT GROUP – (Restaurant Tent Cards)
Challenge: Since all 3 pub locations needed a little help in delivering their restaurant specials with a bit of delicious design, TAG invited Ballistic Arts to re-invent their tent cards.
Solution: The guys over at TAG wanted every page to look a little different from each other, so we ventured to make some exciting and clean designs to wet your palette.

Oh yeah!

ANDUCCI'S RESTAURANT - (Secret Surprise Certificates)
Challenge: Anducci's wanted to give customers an envelope with a secret savings certificate inside which they are not allowed to open until their next return.
Solution: Following the Ballistic Arts design scheme, we created both the envelope and certificate design. The certificate sits and folds out in a unique fashion!

RED TUSK RESOURCES - (Corporate Identity Package)
Challenge: As a new junior exploration company, the folks over at Red Tusk were needing some corporate branding.
Solution: Inviting Ballistic Arts into the fold, we created an elegant logo, business cards, letterheads and envelopes.

Take a look!
