April 2006

Happy April Everybody!

We hope everyone had a great Easter and enjoyed the long weekend! Ballistic Arts kept busy with some new designs -- with the help of some chocolate Easter eggs for inspiration! Check it out!

Stanton's Photography - (Website Design)
Challenge: Stanton's Photography has been specializing in weddings for over 20 years and were in need of an upgrade to their website.

Solution: Stanton's Photography came back to Ballistic Arts to re-design their website since we had already designed a brochure for them and understood their clientele and style. We refreshed the site by designing pages with a clean layout, and incorporated the photographer's work into every page. The new site is romantic, classic, and has great visual impact.

Dow Construction - (Logo and Business Card Design)
Challenge: Dow Construction specializes in millwork, renovations, custom furniture, and kitchen and bath cabinets. They were in need of a corporate identity for the company.

Solution: Ballistic Arts first designed a logo to create Dow Construction's brand, and then integrated the logo into their double-sided business cards. The use of Dow's new colours and logo in their marketing material completes their corporate branding with a seamless, unified look.

Energex - (E-newsletter Design)
Challenge: Energex was looking to reach their clients and customers through an e-newsletter, and wanted it to be customized to reflect the company's brand.

Solution: Since Ballistic Arts designed Energex's website, we applied the same design concepts to the e-newsletter to visually tie it to their brand. The layout within the e-newsletter also allows for content to be displayed in a neat, open space.

Pacific Cascade Minerals - (Logo Design)
Challenge: Pacific Cascade Minerals is an upcoming junior mining exploration company. They were looking for someone to create their corporate identity.

Solution: The first step in creating a corporate identity is a logo, and Ballistic Arts designed one that is unique to the company. The logo incorporates the corporate colours of blue and gray, and plays on the word "Cascade" within the company's name.

Alright everybody! That's it for now! Remember to look out for the next Ballistic Arts newsletter!

Cheers,
