Happy June Everybody!

Summer has officially arrived! The kids are out of school and the days are long and warm. We're all looking forward to grilling on the BBQ and relaxing on the patio but before we do that, we have a few projects to share! Enjoy!

University of British Columbia Faculty of Land and Food Systems - (Reach Out Newsletter Design)
Challenge:
Grounded in science, UBC's Faculty of Land and Food Systems is a leader in integrated research and education that addresses global issues surrounding health and sustainable land and food systems. They were looking to have their biannual newsletter re-designed.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed a newsletter that is modern, fresh and speaks to the Faculty's target audience.

Real Estate Foundation - (20th Anniversary Video and Website Design)
Challenge: The Real Estate Foundation is a philanthropic organization whose purpose is to undertake and carry out real estate public and professional education, law reform, research, and other projects intended for the public or professional good in relation to real estate activities. They were looking to commemorate their 20th anniversary with a video and website.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed a site that clearly shows the timeline and the Foundation's 20th anniversary logo. We then produced and edited the Foundation's anniversary video, which highlights many of the innovative projects the Foundation has been privileged to support. The video was launched at the British Columbia Real Estate Association's Leadership Conference on May 21, 2008 in Kelowna.

Impark - (Cruisepark Website Design and Photography)
Challenge: Cruisepark is Vancouver's leading cruise ship passenger parking facility serving both Canada Place and Ballantyne Pier Terminals. They were looking for a new website design and professional photos.

Solution: Ballistic Arts utilized cruise ship imagery to illustrate what the website is about to the end user. The site includes a flash gallery of photos that Ballistic Arts went on site to shoot, which portray a variety of staff and location images. The overall look is welcoming and easy to use, allowing users the ability to book their reservations online and navigate through the site with ease.

Avison Young - (Client Land Purchasing Flyer)
Challenge: Avison Young is a partner-owned Canadian commercial real estate company that helps their clients strategically solve their real estate concerns. They were looking to have a flyer designed for their client's land development opportunity.

Solution: Using Avison Young's corporate colours, Ballistic Arts designed a full media package that includes a brochure, CD cover and label, allowing Avison Young's client to present their development opportunity to prospective purchasers on an interactive CD.

Flores Health Services - (Website Design)
Challenge: Flores Health Services is a team of experts dedicated to enhancing the health of each and every patient that walks through their office door. They were looking to have a website designed with Web 2.0 capabilities.

Solution: Ballistic Arts designed a website using soothing shades of blue to convey a warm, inviting feel that speaks to Flores' patients. The addition of a newsletter/blog page allows the Flores team to keep their patients up-to-date with their activities and to share comments and recipes.
